For this selection process, our intention is to communicate with applicants by e-mail for screening/assessment purposes (including issuing screening results, and sending invitations for written tests and interviews). Key Activities: Prepares, presents and delivers food products and services to clients in a dining room through dispersed meals, box lunches, sandwich bars, take out service and on occasion, table service. Receives, labels, stores and distributes food, cleaning and paper supplies. Collects meal charges. Maintains the facility and monitors equipment and supplies.
This inventory is for casual employment only which is a temporary employment of 90 workings days or less in a calendar year.

Experience working in an institutional, commercial or industrial food service environment (such as nursing homes, restaurants, bakeries, fast food, military mess facilities)

*Recent is defined as within the last 2 years and Significant is defined as at least 6 months or longer.
Experience with cashier duties and/or operating a point of sale terminal
Experience working in a Canadian or Foreign Service military environment
Experience in supervising employees
Ability to communicate
Ability to follow direction
Ability to demonstrate safe lifting practices
Effective interpersonal skills
Dependability
May be required to work shift work
May be required to work overtime
May be required to work weekends
May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 kg in accordance with general safety practices
Wear CSA approved safety footwear and other personal protective equipment as required
