DEFINITION:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS are the qualifications required to perform the work. You must meet the below essential qualifications when applying to this position and provide concrete examples in the screening questions to be considered for this position.
Education :
ED1: Successful completion of a secondary school graduation diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
Occupational Certification:
OC1: Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) qualified in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT):
- Level II, Ultrasonic Inspection
- Level II, Eddy Current Inspection
- Level II, Liquid Penetrant Inspection
- Level II, Magnetic Particle Inspection
Experience:
EX1: Significant* and recent** experience as a NDT Technician, conducting inspections on fixed wing or rotary wing aircraft, parts and components.
Definitions:
-Significant* experience means at least five years of relevant experience.
-Recent** is defined as within the last three years.
DEFINITION:
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS are qualifications that are not essential to perform the work, but that, now or in the future, may benefit the organization and be an enhancement in terms of the work to be performed. Asset qualifications are desirable but are not necessarily required for the work to be performed. If you meet any of the asset qualifications below, please describe so in the screening questions when you apply.
AEX1: Previous NDT airframe or component inspection experience on one or more of the following aircraft types;
-Bell 407 Challenger 601/604
-Bell 429 Cessna C550
-Bell 412 Beechcraft King Air and/or Dehaviland Dash 7/8

-Available and willing to travel.
-Available and willing to work overtime on short notice during the week or on weekends.
