Intent of the process

To staff two (2) indeterminate positions. A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar term, acting, and/or indeterminate positons with various security requirements.

Education:
- Possession of a 3rd Class Motor Certificate of competency or higher.

Degree equivalency

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Certification:
- 2nd or 1st class motor certificate

Experience:
- Experience as a Chief Engineer on a tug

Organizational Needs:

Reliability Status security clearance

- Ability to obtain the STCW 2010 endorsement within one year of hire date

- The wearing of safety footwear and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
