The intent of this process is to fill two positions on an indeterminate term basis.
A pool of fully or partially qualified candidates could be created and could be used to fill similar or identical positions with various tenure, security clearance or linguistic requirement.

EDUCATION :
Master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, math or any other field related to the position; or
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in any field related to the position, along with acceptable experience.
Note: Degree must be completed at the time of appointment.
EXPERIENCE :
- Writing scientific publications.
- Using one or more data science programing languages (e.g. Python) in a practical setting (academic or other).
- Using one or more data science analysis tools (e.g. Tableau) in a practical setting (academic or other).
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION (ASSET) :
Doctorate from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, math or any other field related to the position.
EXPERIENCE (ASSETS) :
- Working in a research and development environment for the Department of Defense or other.
- Managing research and development projects.
- Managing a research team.
- Managing research and development contracts.
