Intent of the process

This process is open to the entire national scope to fill a group and level EL-07 position.
A pool of qualified candidates may also be established at Transport Canada and may be used to staff similar positions in all Regions, with various tenures and linguistic requirements (English essential, bilingual imperative BBB / BBB, BBC / BBC, CBC / CBC, CCC / CCC) and various security profils.

EDUCATION

- Graduation from a recognized college or university with specialization in electronic technology or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCES:

- Experience** in leading all phases of a security technology project.

- Significant* experience** dealing with internal and external stakeholders

- Experience** developing and executing technical procedures, and providing technical reports.


*Significant experience is based on the experience normally associated with performing these duties full-time for a minimum period of three (3) years.
**The experience sought is related to technology and not information technology (IT)

- Experience in the evaluation, testing, performance verification and assessment of security screening technologies;
- Experience in developing and delivering training material and presentations; and
- Experience developing test tools.
