A pool of candidates will be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions at the IS-03 group and level within Natural Resources Canada with various tenures (determinate period or permanent), various language requirements (English Essential, French Essential, English or French Essential, or Bilingual), linguistic requirements (imperative and/or non-imperative) and profile(s) (BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC, etc.), various security requirements (Reliability status or Secret clearance), various conditions of employment and for various locations.

A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Note:.Based on their education, training and/or experience, indeterminate incumbents of positions in the IS classification are deemed to meet the minimum education standard whenever a bachelor's degree without specialization is called for in a position classified as IS.
Experience in providing advice and recommendations to clients.
*Significant experience in the development or implementation of communications plans or communications products such as backgrounders, news releases, brochures, briefing notes, Web content.
Experience in project management in a communications environment.
Experience in liaising with and coordinating the work of external communications service providers such as advertising agencies, graphic designers, translators, editors, writers, printing companies.
*Significant is understood to mean experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of related activities in the field of communications over a period of two (2) years
