In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics AND experience related to positions in the Financial Management Group; AND

A recognized professional accounting designation. The recognized professional accounting designations are Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified General Accountant (CGA).

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Significant* experience in providing financial advice to senior management**.

Experience in financial controls, financial planning, and budgeting.

Experience providing financial services in a Government (municipal, provincial/territorial, or federal) department or agency.

Experience in working within an Information Management or Information Technology Environment/Context.

*Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of various, complex related activities normally acquired over a period of five (5) years.
**Senior management is defined as Director level (or equivalent) or above.
