A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar or identical positions with various tenures (such as Indeterminate, Specified Period, acting). Once established, the qualified pool will be valid for twelve (12) months with the possibility of being extended

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EX1: Recent* and significant* experience delivering financial services.

EX2: Significant* experience in using the modules of an integrated financial application, such as Oracle R12, AP, AR, GAC, iProcurement and/or iTravel.

EX3: Experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

*Recent is defined as within the last 5 years.
*Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of experience associated with having performed a broad range of various, complex related activities normally acquired over a period of 18 months.

Successful completion of post-secondary training in accounting and/or book keeping.

Recent* and significant* experience delivering financial services within the federal government, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Experience in budget forecasting, analysis and control.
Experience with Leases and Licences.
Experience preparing and entering requisitions for purchase orders, commitments, Specific Service Agreements (SSAs) and call-ups against standing offers.
Experience in the preparation of contracts, including sole sources.
Experience preparing and entering payments for invoices, requests for refunds and other government departments.
Experience with processing Government Acquisition Card transactions.
Experience in reconciliation of accounts (examples can include: Cash Float, Car Rental concessions).
Experience with the functions of the HRG Travel System.
Experience in preparing travel authority and travel expense claims.
Experience in Human Resource Administration (coordinating HR documentation, staffing).
Experience in information management (saving files in RDIMS).
