Delivers services in the areas of finance, material management and administration to management, staff and board members in the Montreal regional office.
The Parole Board of Canada (PBC) contributes to public safety with its core responsibility for the controlled, timed and gradual release of offenders back into society. The skills and talents of our staff are central to this work.

A pool of qualified candidates will be created with bilingual linguistic profiles as well as tenures (indeterminate, term, deployment, acting, assignment, secondment) which may vary according to the position being staffed.

EDUCATION:
Successful completion of two years of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives (Note 1).
1. The employer-approved alternatives to two years of secondary school are:
- A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to two years of secondary school; or
- An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCES:
Recent* experience providing finance-related administrative services, such as making payments, verifying accounts payables and making purchases;
Experience working in a client-service environment.
*Recent: Acquired during the past two years. This period may be extended upon presentation of an approved leave form.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)

KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of the National Joint Council Travel Directive (Part III – Modules 1-2-3).
ABILITIES:
Ability to communicate effectively in writing ;

EXPERIENCES:
Experience working with Freebalance;
Experience using the Shared Travel Services (STS) portal;
Recent* experience verifying travel claims.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Willingness and ability to work overtime;
Willingness and ability to travel by car to manage an automobile fleet.
