EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma
EXPERIENCE
Experience in the use of Microsoft software (Outlook, Word and Excel);
*Significant experience in liaising with clients during stressful situations;
*Significant experience analyzing information and coordinating response efforts to crisis situations such as fire, bomb threat, workplace violence, demonstrations/occupations, strikes/labour disputes, sudden illness/injury, intruder/trespassers, natural and other disasters;
Experience preparing reports and/or emails.
Note: * "Significant" is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally acquired through the performance of duties for a period of at least two (2) years.
EDUCATION
Post-secondary education in one of the following programs: Emergency Management; Security Management or Police Sciences
EXPERIENCE
Experience in the operation of a Closed-circuit television (CCTV) system, radio dispatch or and access control systems;
Experience in using and operate a security console operation system;
Experience in security guard force operations;
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENT
Willingness to work hours at a computer
Willingness to lift items weighing up to 25 kilograms.
Willingness to work rotational shifts of 12 hours/day, including nights, weekends and designated holidays.
Willingness to patrol on foot up to 5km per day the perimeter and interior of the buildings even in inclement weather.
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of the Emergency Management Act.
Knowledge of the Privy Council Office roles, mandate and Secretariats;
Knowledge of the Phases of emergency management cycle.
