The immediate need is to fill a bilingual imperative, BBB/BBB position on a temporarily basis for 12 months.
However, a pool of partially qualified candidates will be established through this selection process to staff identical or similar positions with various language requirements (English Essential and Bilingual) and profiles (BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC and CCC/CCC) and various security requirements in the National Capital Region. All federal organizations listed in Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act may use this selection process to appoint a candidate to its organization. These positions may be staffed on an indeterminate (appointment or deployment) or temporary basis (term, acting, assignment or secondment).

EDUCATION
ED1: Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
EX1: Experience in providing administrative services to senior management*.
EX2: Recent** experience in managing the daily agenda of higher management*, including planning and coordinating meetings or appointments.
EX3: Experience in working with the following MS Office software: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
*Senior management is defined as an executive at the director level of higher.
**Recent is defined as Experience normally acquired within 2 last years.
EXPERIENCE
AEX1: Experience scheduling and organizing travel arrangements.
AEX2: Experience working with financial information or financial documents such as budget tracking and forecasting, acquisition card reconciliation or petty cash.
AEX3: Experience in researching, extracting, compiling or manipulating data using information management systems.
AEX4: Experience in drafting, editing or verifying correspondence or reports.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Reliability Status security clearance - This factor is not used at the pre-selection stage. The hiring department is responsible for the security clearance process.
Applicants must successfully write Public Service Entrance Exam (PSEE).
Applicants must complete the Public Service Entrance Exam Unsupervised Internet Test as part of the screening for this selection process. This exam consists of two sub-tests: the Test of Reasoning and the Test of Judgement. While all applicants are asked to take the first sub-test, you will only be invited to take the second sub-test if additional information is required to complete the assessment. You will have 90 minutes to complete the Test of Reasoning and 75 minutes to complete the Test of Judgement (if required). You must complete the test(s) before you submit your application for this position.

Candidates who have been assessed and found to have met all essential qualifications except official language requirements may update their second-language evaluation (SLE) results for as long as the pool is valid.
