Intent of the process

This process will serve to create a group of qualified candidates which may be used for similar positions with various tenures, various security clearance levels, various locations, and/or various language requirements.

EDUCATION:

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.

Employer approved alternative is defined as:
1. An acceptable combination of training and experience. Two years’ experience working in an office environment that required tasks such as: data entering, filing, sending and replying to e-mails, answering inquiries via telephone, email, letters, etc, and training in the basic use of computers.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

· Experience providing services to internal or external clients.
· Experience using computer software, such as Microsoft Office.

· Successful completion of 2 years post-secondary program
· Graduation with a degree from a recognized university, with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce or economics.

EXPERIENCE:

· Experience as a member of the CAF
· Experience using spreadsheets and word processing software in a Windows environment.
· Experience with processing payments.
· Experience working in a financial environment which may include budgetary operating practises, travel authorities/claims, and/or procurement, and financial software.

ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS:
Preference may be given to Veterans Affairs Canada employees affected by workforce adjustment or organizational change.
