IOGC is located away from Calgary's downtown core at the west end of Anderson Road on Tsuu T'ina First Nation lands.

Successful completion of a post secondary education program or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
Recent experience in conducting research; collecting, interpreting and analyzing documents. Recent experience is defined as 2 years of experience acquired in the past 5 years.

IOGC is an organization committed to managing and regulating oil and gas resources on First Nation reserve lands. It is a special operating agency within Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada. IOGC is responsible for the administration of oil and gas resources on First Nation reserve lands across Canada, primarily south of the 60th parallel. Most of IOGC's work is in Western Canada in the area of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin.
