IITB is a national organization, with a wide variety of work that can be performed regardless of geographic location. However, certain positions may require a physical presence at a specific location.

Duties

Your role

As an IM/IT Programmer or Programmer/Analyst you will play a key role in designing and developing IM/IT solutions for a variety of programs and initiatives that touch all Canadians such as Canada Student Loans, Employment Insurance, Canada Job Grant, Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security and more.

Activities include:
• Designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining application systems and participating in quality assurance activities.
• Producing programming specifications and write new or modify existing code.
• Producing technical documentation.
• Working with various policy/program experts from client organizations to clarify requirements for services or to resolve technical issues.

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone who is passionate about IM/IT and service delivery to clients and can bring with them new and innovative ideas.

Work environment

Most positions will be located in Gatineau, QC. Virtual work reporting from another ESDC office in Canada may be possible upon management approval.
