Intent of the process

Anticipatory staffing. A pool of qualified candidates will be established to staff in the future similar positions on an indeterminate, determinate, assignment, secondment, deployment, casual or acting basis within the Public Service Commission in the National Capital Region.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Secondary school diploma.

Degree equivalency

Experience using electronic databases.

Experience in office work.

Experience providing services to clients by telephone and in writing, within prescribed deadlines. (Note: Your writing skills will be assessed throughout the application).

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Experience providing administrative support services.

Experience using various Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word and Excel).

A random selection may be used at certain stages of the assessment.

A written examination, an interview and a reference check may be part of the candidates' assessment.

Candidates must meet the essential qualifications to be appointed to a position.

Candidates may be required to meet the asset qualifications or the organizational needs, depending on the requirements of the specific position being staffed.
