**AMENDMENT TO CLOSING DATE**
The student will be responsible for conducting research experiments related to benefits of native perennial legumes in forage systems. This responsibility includes experimental design, field sampling, laboratory analysis, data analysis and writing (including, but not necessarily limited to, writing of a thesis). Challenges associated with the position include the development of scientific research and writing skills necessary to fulfill requirements of a MSc. program in plant sciences.
This work will be conducted at the AAFC Swift Current Research and Development Centre in partnership with Dr. Biligetu, University of Saskatchewan, Department of Plant Sciences and Ecology.

Possession of a B.Sc. from a recognized post-secondary institution in Biology, Plant Science, Environmental Science, or a related field, by Spring 2017.
Enrollment in the MSc program in the Department of Plant Science at the University of Saskatchewan, no later than September 2017.
Experience in Plant identification, and Forage Research.
In the context of student recruitment in the Federal Public Service, the experience can be
acquired through the studies, work experience, or volunteer activities.
