Work environment

Intent of the process

A pool of (fully or partially qualified) candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions at the ED-LAT-02 group and level within Natural Resources Canada with various tenures (determinate period or permanent, various security requirements (Reliability status or Secret clearance), various conditions of employment and for various locations.

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in a recognize university in education, linguistic or in a field related to learning or development.

Degree equivalency

Considerable experience in teching French or English as a second langue to professional adults (for example working for the federal public service) during the last ten years (considerable being defined as three full-time year).

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Recent and considerable experience in supervising French or English teachers (recent and considerable being defined as two full-time years in the last five years).
Experience in managing a cost recovery plan.
