The intent of this process is to fill a position on a term basis.

EDUCATION :
- Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in electrical engineering, electronic engineering or some other specialty relevant to the duties of the position.

EXPERIENCE :
- Significant* practical experience in software development environments, mainly for data analysis and algorithms for data processing using MATLAB, or similar high level programming/analysis tools.
- Significant* practical experience planning, executing, and documenting the design and development of hardware or software.
* At least 4 years Engineering experience.

KNOWLEDGE :
- Knowledge of high-level architecture (HLA) for distributed computer simulation systems.
- Knowledge of 3-dimensional (3D) real-world modeling and simulation (M&S) and real-time data analysis.
- Knowledge of how to build and simulate 3D RF microwave scenarios, and how to post-process signal data obtained from those scenarios.
- Knowledge of how to use object-oriented programming for 3D M&S applications.

ABILITIES AND SKILLS :
- Ability to test and troubleshoot software.
- Ability to use commercial-off-the-shelf software packages in one or more of following areas: microwave system design, digital signal processing, FPGA, computational electromagnetics, 3D real-world M&S.

EXPERIENCE :
- Experience working with people, organization and partners in a Research and Development (R&D) environment
- Experience working with Radar Electronic Warfare (REW) or radar in a R&D environment
- Experience in costing, contract bid evaluation, acceptance testing, design review, and implementation of research and development projects
- Experience using System Tool Kit (AGI)
- Experience developing REW related 3D M&S scenarios for RF countermeasure studies
- Experience using STK Object with Matlab
- Experience using STK engine to develop user applications

- Knowledge of System Tool Kit® for 3D REW M&S.
- Knowledge of Matlab System Object® for RF and antenna system modeling
- Knowledge of Active X COM objects
