(90 Elgin) - TBS’s new flagship facility at 90 Elgin Street, in the heart of downtown Ottawa, is the hub of its activities. The new building meets the government’s Workplace 2.0 concept, has Wi-Fi throughout, and has many fully equipped videoconference areas to support collaboration and innovation. Employees have access to amenities such as showers, change rooms and secure bicycle storage, allowing them to commute using Ottawa’s bike path system.
(219 Laurier – OCHRO/OCG-FMT/CSS) - By 2018, employees of (Option: OCHRO, OCG-FMT and CSS) will be moving to a newly renovated building in the downtown core that will meet the government’s new Workplace 2.0 concept and have Wi-Fi throughout. The initial intent of this process is to offer one indeterminate position.
A pool of qualified persons resulting from this process WILL be created and WILL be used to fill similar positions with linguistic profiles (english essential, bilingual imperative BBB/BBB, bilingual imperative CBC/CBC) as well as tenures (indeterminate, deployment, acting, assignment, secondment, specified period) which may vary according to the position being staffed.

Your résumé.
You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed. Some essential and other qualifications will be assessed through your application. It is your responsibility to provide appropriate examples that illustrate how you meet each qualification. Education:
-Successful completion of an acceptable two-year, post-secondary education program in computer science, information technology or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed; or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
Experience:
-Recent* and significant** experience in developing, maintaining and supporting SAP solutions using SAP ABAP, SAPScripts and/or SmartForms and OSS Notes;
-Recent* and significant** experience in using SAP BADIs, and BAPIs;
-Experience in analyzing requirements and providing advice, options and recommendations on the development and implementation of technical SAP solutions;
-Experience in writing technical documentation such as procedures and user guides;
-Experience in working in a project driven environment.
Recent* is defined as experience normally acquired within the last three (3) years.
Significant** is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of those duties for approximately two (2) years.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
Information on language requirements
Knowledge:
-Knowledge of any SAP related modules: FI, FM, CO, SD, MM, PS, PI, SFT, PM, CATS;
-Knowledge of integration principles of an ERP system.

Abilities:
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
-Ability to communicate effectively in writing;

Education:
-Certification in the SAP Advanced Business Application Program (ABAP) language;
-A degree from a recognized university in information management, information technology or computer science;
-ITIL certified by Axelos.
Experience:
-Experience in the use of a Business Intelligence (BI) Tool to support the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system reporting;
-Experience in building and maintaining SAP interfaces.
Knowledge:
-Knowledge of the Public Service and Procurement Canada (PSPC) IFMS-SAP Program Office footprint programs;
-Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures.
Organizational Needs:
-Treasury Board Secretariat employees affected by workforce adjustment may be appointed before persons employed by other government organizations;
-In support of achieving a diverse workforce, consideration may be given to candidates self-identifying as belonging to one of the following Employment Equity groups: Aboriginal peoples, persons with disabilities, members of visible minorities, and women.

If this process is for an acting appointment, the Public Service Employment Regulations allow a federal government organization to exclude an appointee from having the official language proficiency indicated in the job advertisement.
